本院歷史語言研究所張谷銘副研究員榮獲2011-2012年哈佛燕京學社訪問學者獎助，可至哈佛大學進行11個月訪問研究，並補助生活費；張博士致力於歐洲近代科學史、思想史的研究，此次獲獎研究計畫為「Politics of Life and Science: Nationalism, Internationalism and Appropriations of Vitalism in Chinese Modernization Discourses, 1918-1932」。
