Dr. Yu-Ru Lee, Assistant Research Fellow at the Institute of Biomedical Sciences, Academia Sinica, was recently awarded the 2021 Li Foundation Heritage Prize.

Dr. Lee’s research focuses on multifaceted aspects of cancer treatment, including ubiquitination, cancer signaling, tumor biology, non-coding RNA, CRISPR screening, and targeting therapy/immunotherapy. His work has earned worldwide recognition, and he has published more than 15 peer-reviewed research papers in high impact biomedical science journals such as Science, NEJM, Cell, Nature Genetics, and Cancer Discovery.
