Dr. Ooi-Kock Teh obtained his doctorate degree from University of Oxford and has undertaken postdoctoral training in Japan, Sweden and Germany.

Dr. Teh has been investigating the vesicular trafficking in plant cells and tried to connect various trafficking pathways with cellular and developmental processes in plants. In the past few years, he has switched his research interest to investigate land plant evolutionary processes and their morphological adaptations during the aquatic to terrestrial transition.

Dr. Teh has served as the assistant research fellow of the Institute of Plant and Microbial Biology since October, 2021.
