Dr. Hsueh-Han Huang received his Ph.D. from the Institute of Statistics, National Tsing Hua University. After graduation, He served the alternative civilian service for one year. Then, he joined the Institute of Statistical Science, Academia Sinica as an assistant research fellow since July, 2023.
Dr. Huang’s research interests include time series, high-dimensional data analysis, and model selection. During his Ph.D., He established the consistency of the Bayesian information criterion for estimating the orders of the autoregressive fractionally integrated moving average model, which is a long-standing problem in the time series literature, under the supervision of Prof. Ching-Kang Ing. Dr. Huang will continue developing statistical theories and methods in the future.
