The Institute of History and Philology, Academia Sinica and the Ecole française d’Extrême-Orient (EFEO, French School of Asian Studies) are organizing an international conference to celebrate the 30th year of the cooperation between EFEO and Academia Sinica. It will gather more than thirty scholars from Europe and Taiwan to present new directions of research in religious studies, maritime history, institutional history, archival research, and archaeology in Taiwan, China, Japan, Southeast Asia, and South Asia.
