- Dr. Yu-Chin Hsu, Research Fellow of the Institute of Economics, will serve as Acting Director of the Institute, effective August 10, 2022. The term of appointment will be until the new Director of the Institute assumes office.
- Dr. Hsueh-Chi Hsu, Distinguished Research Fellow of the Institute of Taiwan History, has been re-appointed Director of the Institute, effective from October 1, 2022 to August 31, 2023.
- Dr. Yi-Ching Yao has been appointed Adjunct Research Fellow of Institute of Statistical Science, effective from August 1, 2022 to July 31, 2023.
- Dr. Kaim Ang has been appointed Adjunct Research Fellow of the Institute of Taiwan History, effective from August 1, 2022 to July 31, 2023.
- Dr. Wen-Shan Li has been promoted to Research Fellow of the Institute of Chemistry, effective from July 20, 2022 to February 29, 2028.
- Dr. Yin-Ru Chiang has been promoted to Research Fellow of the Biodiversity Research Center, effective from July 25, 2022 to September 30, 2039.
- Dr. Hui-Yu Wang has been appointed Associate Research Fellow of the Biodiversity Research Center, effective from September 1, 2022 to July 31, 2026.
- Dr. Jia-Chen Fu has been appointed Associate Research Fellow of the Institute of Modern History, effective from September 1, 2022 to May 31, 2043.
- Dr. Konstantin Khalturi has been Appointed Associate Research Fellow of the Institute of Cellular and Organismic Biology, effective from September 15, 2022 to July 31, 2028.
- Dr. Chien-Yao Wang has been appointed Assistant Research Fellow of the Institute of Information Science, effective from July 28, 2022 to July 31, 2027.
- Dr. Di-Rong Wu has been appointed Assistant Research Fellow of the Institute of Information Science, effective from August 1, 2022 to July 31, 2027.
