         Dr. Jen-Leih Wu, Distinguished Research Fellow of the Institute of Cellular and Organismic Biology, has bee nappointed the Director General of Academia Sinica, effective January 17, 2014.

         Dr. Daisy Tsai, Senior Research Specialist of the Genomics Research Center, has been appointed the Deputy Director General of Academia Sinica, effective January 17, 2014.
