Applications for 2008 Academia Sinica Research Award for Junior Research Investigators Are Open till October 1, 2007
 

Applications for 2008 Academia Sinica Research Award for Junior Research Investigators are open now. The deadline for this application is October 1, 2007. All applications must be submitted on-line (http://db3n2u.sinica.edu.tw/~textdb/program). The on-line system will not accept any applications beyond the deadline.

Each winner will receive a certificate and a cash award of NT$200,000. An additional amount of NT$300,000 will also be granted for research expenditures.

If collaborators have applied for the award with the same winning work, the cash award of NT$200,000 should be shared between them. Under this circumstance each winner stemming from the same work will receive a certificate each. Also an additional NT$100,000 research expenditure will be added to the amount with each additional collaborating winner.
