Academia Sinica offers an opportunity for the short-term appointment of visiting scholars from other universities or research institutions in Taiwan. The purpose of this Program is to assist scholars outside Academia Sinica to conduct in-depth research on our campus in order to strengthen academic ties as well as facilitating the development of sciences and technologies in Taiwan.

　　Each applicant should complete the application on-line (http：//db3n2u.sinica.edu.tw/~textdb/program) by October 15, 2012, and submit three copies of the completed application form to the intended host Institute within Academia Sinica by the affiliated institution before October 25, 2012. The appointment for Domestic Visiting Scholars is awarded for the period of  (1) from January to June 2013 or (2) from July to December 2013.
