Dr. Chin-Shing Huang, Distinguished Research Fellow of the Institute of History and Philology, has been reappointed Director of the Institute for a three-year term, effective October 13, 2012.

Dr. Tzyy-Jen Chiou has been promoted to Research Fellow of the Agricultural Biotechnology Research Center, effective September 12, 2012.
