Director Shaw Chen Liu, Distinguished Research Fellow of the Research Center for Environmental Changes, is going to China for academic affairs from August 16-23, 2012. During his absence, Deputy Director George Tin-Fuk Wong is the acting director.

Director Chin-shing Huang, Distinguished Research Fellow of the Institute of History and Philology, is going to China for academic affairs from September 16-26, 2012. During his absence, Deputy Director Fu-shih Lin is the acting director.
