Director Tai-Ping Liu, Distinguished Research Fellow of the Institute of Mathematics, will attend international conferences in Hong Kong, China and Germany from December 4 to 12, 2008. During his absence the acting director of the Institute will be Deputy Director Hsuan-Pei Lee.
