Professor Michal Kleiber, President of the Polish Academy of Sciences, will visit Academia Sinica on Friday, September 5, 2008. Prof. Kleiber and Mrs. Kleiber will call on Vice President Chao-Han Liu and visit the Institute of Information Science. A luncheon will be hosted by Vice President Liu at the Center of Academic Activities.

Prof. Kleiber served as the director of the Institute of Fundamental Technological Research of the Polish Academy of Sciences between 1995 and 2005 and has been President of the Polish Academy since 2007. He pursues research in mechanics and informatics. During this visit, Prof. Kleiber hopes to enhance current and future collaboration between the Polish Academy and Academia Sinica.
