　　Dr. Yu-Tai Tao, Distinguished Research Fellow of the Institute of Chemistry, is acting as Director of the Institute, effective January 15, 2013. The term of appointment is until the new Director of the Institute assumes office.

　　Dr. Ya-Jen Chang has been appointed Assistant Research Fellow of the Institute of Biomedical Sciences, effective March 1, 2013.

　　Dr. Wan-Chuan Fang has been appointed Adjunct Research Fellow of the Institute of European and American Studies, effective February 1, 2013.
