Director Paul Ho, Distinguished Research Fellow of the Institute of Astronomy and Astrophysics, is going to the United States and Canada for academic affairs from November 27 to December 5, 2013. During his absence, Deputy Director Shiang-Yu Wang is the acting director.

　　Acting Director Lou-Chuang Lee, Distinguished Research Fellow of the Institute of Earth Sciences, will attend an international conference in the United States from December 7 to 15, 2013. During his absence, Deputy Director Chung-Ho Wang will be the acting director.

　　Director Pao-Kuan Wang, Distinguished Research Fellow of the Research Center for Environmental Changes, will attend an international conference in the United States from December 8 to 15, 2013. During his absence, Deputy Director Huang-Hsiung Hsu will be the acting director.

　　Director Mei-Yin Chou, Distinguished Research Fellow of the Institute of Atomic and Molecular Sciences, will attend an international conference in Hong Kong from December 14 to 17, 2013. During her absence, Deputy Director Wen-Bih Tzeng will be the acting director.

　　Director Tao-Shih Hsieh, Distinguished Research Fellow of the Institute of Cellular and Organismic Biology, will go to the United States for academic affairs from December 21, 2013 to January 9, 2014. During his absence, Deputy Director Pung-Pung Hwang will be the acting director.
