The best musical and best actress nominations in the Daegu International Music Festival of Korea in 2018! Pin-Ling Chen, a new actress who has hundreds of musical performance experience, plays a triple in the show. The plot depicts the 33-year-old female lawyer’s pursuit of marriage. The title of the song “焢肉” is based on the English Meant to meet (meat) homophonic, which is a clever combination of Taiwanese food culture elements. “Meant to MEAT “was awarded the first prize of the Quanta Arts Foundation Musical Creation Competition in 2016. In 2017, it was invited to the performance of the Cross-Strait Little Theater Art Festival, and later became the only Taiwanese work invited by the 2018 Daegu International Music Festival in South Korea! The unique female solo performed musical will be introduced to Academia Sinica for the first time, hoping to be an eye-opener to the audience.
