Dr. Szu-Chien Hsu, Associate Research Fellow of the Institute of Political Science, has been seconded as Political Deputy Minister of Ministry of Foreign Affairs from July 16, 2018 to July 15 2022.

Dr. Shui-Tein Chen has been appointed Adjunct Research Fellow of the Institute of Biological Chemistry, effective from June 1, 2018, to May 31, 2019.
