Dr. Yi-Kuan Chiang, Assistant Research Fellow at the Institute of Astronomy and Astrophysics, Academia Sinica, was recently awarded the 2023 Li Foundation Heritage Prize.

Dr. Chiang specializes in data-driven astronomy and sky surveys, with applications in cosmology, large-scale structures, galaxy formation, extragalactic background light, protoclusters, and Milky Way dust. His contributions have received international recognition, with over 30 papers published in top-tier astronomical journals such as ApJ, MNRAS, Nature Astronomy, and others.
