Dr. Hung-Hsin Chen obtained his doctorate in epidemiology from Vanderbilt University and completed his postdoctoral training at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. He has been an Assistant Research Fellow at the Institute of Biomedical Sciences since May 2023.

His research focuses on using large-scale biobank data to investigate the genetic mechanism of cardio metabolic diseases, particularly by leveraging the biobanks’ abundant genetic relatedness and repeated measurements. Furthermore, his team is interested in uncovering key molecular signatures of disease onset by studying longitudinal multi-omics profiles such as the transcriptome, proteome, and metabolome.
