An oligosaccharide-conjugate cancer vaccine has shown promising results in eliciting antibodies against glycan moieties found in various cancer types and their stem cells. However, the fate of oligosaccharide antigen in dendritic cells has never been investigated. The research teams, led by Distinguished Research Fellow Dr. Chi-Huey Wong and Distinguished Research Fellow Dr. Kuo-I Lin at Genomics Research Center, discovered the mechanism by which the oligosaccharide was processed and presented in dendritic cells. This study has been published in JACS.
