        Academician Maw-Kuen Wu, Director and Distinguished Research Fellow in the Institute of Physics, will travel to Japan on February 19 through 23, 2007 to attend an international conference.  During his absence the acting director of Institute will be Research Fellow Sai-Ping Li and Chi-Keung Chan.

        Academician John Yu, Director and Distinguished Research Fellow at the Institute of Cellular and Organismic Biology, will travel to United States on February 17 through March 8, 2007 to attend an international conference. During his absence the acting director of Institute will be Research Fellow Pung-Pung Hwang.
