Director Jackson T.-S. Sun, Research Fellow of the Institute of Linguistics, is going to China for academic affairs from July 23 to August 22, 2010. During his absence, Deputy Director Min-hua Chiang is the acting director.

Director Ker-Chau Li, Distinguished Research Fellow of the Institute of Statistical Science, will go to Canada for academic affairs from July 30 to August 10, 2010. During his absence, Deputy Director Jing-Shiang Hwang will be the acting director.

Director Yuh-Lin Wang, Distinguished Research Fellow of the Institute of Atomic and Molecular Sciences, will go to Japan from August 8 - 16, 2010. During his absence, Deputy Director Ching-Ming Wei will be the acting director.
