| Dr. Fang-Yi Chiou and Dr. Yi-Hsien Su granted membership in the Global Young Academy, GYA |

Dr. Fang-Yi Chiou, associate research fellow of the Institute of Political Science, and Dr. Yi-Hsien Su, assistant research fellow of the Institute of Cellular and Organismic Biology, were granted membership in the Global Young Academy. The Global Young Academy (GYA) was officially founded in February 2010 with start-up funding support from IAP. There are approximately 100 current members from 46 countries, mainly leading young scientists with an average age of 35, each serving a four-year term.
