Director Paul Ho, Distinguished Research Fellow of the Institute of Astronomy and Astrophysics, will go to the United States for academic affairs from October 3–13, 2013. During his absence, Deputy Director Shiang-Yu Wang will be the acting director.

　　Director Ting-Kuo Lee, Distinguished Research Fellow of the Institute of Physics, will go to the United States for academic affairs from October 9–20, 2013. During his absence, Deputy Director Yang Yuan Chen will be the acting director.

　　Director Chiu-yu Tseng, Research Fellow of the Institute of Linguistics, will attend international conferences in China from October 17–23, 2013.During her absence, Deputy Director Elizabeth Zeitoun will be the acting director.

　　Acting Director Shun-Jen Cheng, Distinguished Research Fellow of the Institute of Mathematics, will go to China for academic affairs from November 12–19, 2013. During his absence, Deputy Director Ching Hung Lam will be the acting director.
