Dr. Bor-ming Jahn, Distinguished Research Fellow of the Institute of Earth Sciences, has been appointed Director of the Institute for a one-year term, effective September 1, 2009.

Dr. Guey-Shin Wang has been appointed Assistant Research Fellow of the Institute of Biomedical Sciences, effective September 15, 2009.
