The Taipei Office of the French Centre for Research on Contemporary China (CEFC) is a French academic institution located in the RCHSS Building. It has been collaborating with the Research Center for Humanities and Social Sciences (RCHSS) since 1999. Dr. Frank Muyard's term of office as the director of Taipei Office of the CEFC ends on August 31, 2009. The new director, Dr. Paul Jobin, Associate Professor at the University of Paris Diderot, has assumed office on September 1^st, 2009. Mr. Muyard would like to express his deep appreciation to Academia Sinica, especially the Research Center for Humanities and Social Sciences (RCHSS), for the lasting collaboration and support.
