Director Yuan-Tsong Chen, Distinguished Research Fellow of the Institute of Biomedical Sciences, will go to Japan for academic affairs from September 25 to 27, 2009. During his absence, Deputy Director Pauline Yen will be the acting director.

Director Meng-Chao Yao, Distinguished Research Fellow of the Institute of Molecular Biology, is going to the United States for academic affairs from September 23 to October 2, 2009. During his absence, Deputy Director Chwan-Deng Hsiao is the acting director.

Director Hsin-Huang Michael Shiao, Research Fellow of the Institute of Socoilogy, is going to the United States to attend an international conference from September 22 to 26, 2009. During his absence, Deputy Director Mau-Kuei Chang is the acting director.
