Director Chin-shing Huang, Distinguished Research Fellow of the Institute of History and Philology, goes to China for academic affairs from April 27 to May 10, 2014. During his absence, Deputy Director Fu-shih Lin is the acting director.

         Director Fu-Tong Liu, Distinguished Research Fellow of the Institute of Biomedical Sciences, will attend an international conference in the United States from May 3 -15, 2014. During his absence, Deputy Director Yuh-Shan Jou will be the acting director.

         Director Tao-Shih Hsieh, Distinguished Research Fellow of the Institute of Cellular and Organismic Biology, will go to the United States for academic affairs from May 8 - 24, 2014. During his absence, Deputy Director Pung-Pung Hwang will be the acting director.
