Chan is the one of the most prominent scientists and renowned for his great contributions in biochemistry and biophysics. We have the greatest pleasure and honor to have Academician Chan to share his thoughts on how to control methane emissions into the atmosphere with the attendees. The abundance of Methane makes it an attractive fuel, however Methane is one of the key greenhouse gases - which has global warming potential (GWP) of 34. Henceforth, there is an urgent need for us to understand the mechanism of controlling its emissions to soothe global warming.
