Academia Sinica offers short-term appointments for visiting scholars from other universities or research institutions in Taiwan. The purpose of this Program is to provide opportunities for scholars outside Academia Sinica to conduct in-depth research on our campus in order to strengthen academic ties as well as facilitate the development of sciences and technologies in Taiwan.

        Each applicant should submit to the intended host Institute within Academia Sinica three copies of a completed application form by October 25, 2010 (including a curriculum vitae, a research plan, reprints of publications, and agreement of sponsorship from the host Institute in Academia Sinica). The appointment for Domestic Visiting Scholars is awarded for the period of (1) from January to June 2011 and (2) from July to December 2011.
