         Director Ming-Daw Tsai, Distinguished Research Fellow of the Institute of BiologicalChemistry, will attend an international conference in the United States from February 15-22, 2014.During his absence, Deputy Director Kay-Hooi Khoo will be the acting director.

         Director Kamhon Kan, Research Fellow of the Institute of Economics, will attend an international conference in Japan from February 26 to March 1, 2014. During his absence, Dr. Shin-Kun Peng will be the acting director.
