• Applications for the 2011 Academia Sinica Research Award for Junior Research Investigators are now open. The application period is from August 16 to October 1, 2010.
•  All applications must be submitted on-line (http://db3n2u.sinica.edu.tw/~textdb/program). The on-line system will not accept any applications after the deadline.
• If the applicant is not a member of the faculty of Academia Sinica, a certificate of employment issued by the current employer should be submitted on-line.
• Starting from this year, the eligibility of application for the Award has been modified as follows:

                  An applicant must have received a Ph.D. degree at a domestic university or college, or a Ph.D. degree at a foreign    university or college recognized by Academia Sinica. S/he must also meet the following requirements:

1. S/he must be age 42 or under (born on or after Aug. 1st, 1967).

2. S/he must hold a full-time position (postdoctoral position excluded) at a domestic research institute, university, or college.
