A BRIEF ON THUNDER TUNE MUSIC (TTM)

 Having been impressed by the western composers who, basing on their cultural  elements, create a lot of outstanding global-visioned performances.  Thus starting from the winter in 2002, TTM's carried out the goal named " Sing Our Song" and collected whole native musics covering Aborgined, Mainland, Taiwanese, Hakka music creations to develop the new epochal sound in Taiwan.  Up to now, TTM's have been producing 26 manner of CD and DVD albums, bringing our own-selves music to Taiwanese.

 In Taiwan, TTM's keep insistent on producing live sound music as its brand mark, not the electronic-combined one.  That is TTM's conviction!

 TTM's strongly feel that the nowadays audio technology of the modern music would rather preserve each inspiration-rich performance than exert efforts in man-power saving or in the technical modification and cutting.  Such doing is driven by the facts that TTM's members are good at live performances and, under the cold and curt e-epochal technology, live music is capable of showing human nature and of preserving the unique live impromtu and inspiration.

 In 2007 TTM's had consecutively held 3-years' performances in National Music Hall in Taipei, Taiwan, performing " The Map of Taiwanese Music/Classic Folk Music Night".  The native-created melodies on this island were received great echoes and applauses from the large sudiences in the high-levelled National Music Hall.

 To implement their ideals and to develop auditory culture in Taiwan, in June and July 2009, TTM's even touched deeply down to rural areas/places such as Ho-chen and Ren-teh communities in Taichung; Shih-sheh community, Changhua; Hung-tu and Ming-hua, Chia-ie; Kue-chung village and Zen-ai Elderly Caring House, Ping-tung where TTM's held 8 free-of-charge public music performances which were all elaborated musics understandable to those rural aged, warming and soothing their lonesome souls  and spreading cultural seeds to both the children and the young as well.

 TTM's are confident that music is not a kind of commerce but a kind of culture business; because when every family considers music as a part of his living, then we shall have a better cultural environment and eventually our lives will become better and beautiful!
