Director Bor-Min Jahn, Distinguished Research Fellow of the Institute of Earth Sciences, will attend an international conference in Singapore from February 22 to 24, 2008. During his absence, the acting director of the Institute will be Deputy Director Chang-Hwa Chen.

Director Paul Ho, Distinguished Research Fellow of the Institute of Astronomy and Astrophysics (Preparatory Office), will attend an international conference in Japan from January 30 to February 1, 2008. During his absence the acting director of the Institute will be Deputy Director Jeremy Lim.
