The extension of the secondment of Dr. Lee-Feng Chien, Research Fellow of the Institute of Information Science, to serve at Google Research Center in Taiwan, has been approved, effective March 1, 2008 until February 28, 2009.

 

Dr. Yuh-Jen Cheng has been appointed Assistant Research Fellow of the Research Center for Applied Sciences, effective February 1, 2008.

 

Dr. Ly-Yun Chang, Research Fellow of the Institute of Sociology, has been appointed Director of the Center for Survey Research for a two-year term, effective March 1, 2008.
