　　Director Wen-Hsiung Li, Distinguished Research Fellow of the Biodiversity Research Center, is going to the United States for academic affairs from September 16 to October 5, 2010. During his absence, Deputy Director Jiunn-Tzong Wu is the acting director.

　　Director Pen-Chung Yew, Distinguished Research Fellow of the Institute of Information Science, is going to the United States for academic affairs from September 11-26, 2010. During his absence, Deputy Director Ming-Tat Ko is the acting director.
