Let the Wind Carry Me – A Film by Chiang Hsiu Chiung and Kwan Pun Leung
 

Time: 7:00 PM, Friday, September 24, 2010 (Doors open at 6:30 PM)

Venue: Auditorium Hall, 1F Center of Academic Activities, Academia Sinica

Directors: Chiang Hsiu Chiung, Kwan Pun Leung (Discussion with the directors after the film.)

Admission: Free

        This film is a documentary about the internationally renowned Taiwan-born cinematographer Mark Ping-ding Lee, tracing his family background and the course of his prolific cinematographic career. Through this film, the audience can attain insight into the work of film professionals as well as the various forms of collaboration between directors and photographers. The film also offers the audience with an opportunity to observe the stylistic changes in Taiwanese cinema from the 1980s to the 1990s.
