Brief Introduction

    Initially, the play “That Evening” was an attempt to use xiangsheng (or crosstalk) to write a funeral oration. However, the play unexpectedly became a huge success. Adding elements of the stand-up comedy, the traditional art of xiangsheng is presented here in a novel form, yet still accurately reflects societal phenomena and provides deep insights into life. This show entitled Tonight, Performance Workshop Performs Crosstalk Part 2 will invigorate its audience with an evening of laughter and unrelenting wit.
