Director Yu-cheng Lee, Distinguished Research Fellow of the Institute of European and American Studies, will visit Beijing, China for academic affairs from June 16 to 23, 2009. During his absence, Deputy Director Der-Chin Horng and Research Fellow Jia-You Sheu will be the acting directors.

Director Hsueh-chi Hsu, Research Fellow of the Institute of Taiwan History, will visit Fujian, China for academic affairs from June 12 to 21, 2009. During her absence, Associate Research Fellow Shu-ming Chung will be the acting director.
