Applications for the 2007 Second Session Short-term Domestic Visiting Scholars Are Now Being Accepted

Academia Sinica offers an opportunity for the short-term appointment of visiting scholars from other universities or research institutions in Taiwan. The purpose of this Program is to assist scholars outside Academia Sinica to conduct in-depth research on our campus in order to strengthen academic ties as well as facilitating the development of sciences and technologies in Taiwan.

Each applicant should submit to the intended host Institute within Academia Sinica three copies of a completed application form by April 20, 2007 (including a curriculum vitae, a research plan, reprints of publications, and agreement of sponsorship from the host Institute in Academia Sinica). The appointment for Domestic Visiting Scholars is awarded for the period between July and December 2007.

For general information, please contact Ms. Hsia Chia-Hui at the Office of Academic Affairs, phone number 02-2789-9377. The guidelines for the Short-term Domestic Visiting Scholars can be found at: http://www.sinica.edu.tw/~affairwb/ra/
