Dr. Ya-Jen Chang, Assistant Research Fellow of the Institute of Biomedical Sciences, has been awarded the 2013 Li Foundation Heritage Prize for “Excellence in Creativity”. Dr. Chang’s research on the regulations of innate immunity and the pathophysiology of asthma has gained international recognition. Dr. Chang has published 19 articles in top international journals such as Nat. Med., Nat. Immunol., J Clin Invest., J Allergy Clin Immunol., Proc. Natl. Acad. Sci.
