Director Fu-Tong Liu, Distinguished Research Fellow of the Institute of Biomedical Sciences, will attend an international conference in the United States from March 18 - 26, 2014. During his absence, Deputy Director Hsiu-Ming Shih will bethe acting director.

         Director Hsin-Huang Michael Hsiao, Distinguished Research Fellow of the Institute of Sociology, will attend internationalconferences in Korea from March 18–21, 2014. During his absence, Deputy Director Fu-chang Wang will be the acting director.

         Director Din Ping Tsai, Distinguished Research Fellow of the Research Center for Applied Sciences, will attend an international conference in China from March 25 to April 2, 2014. During his absence, Deputy Director Pei-Kuen Wei will be the acting director.
