Director Benjamin Fong Chao, Distinguished Research Fellow of the Institute of Earth Sciences, will go to China to attend international conferences from October 13-25, 2011. During his absence, Deputy Director Chang-Hwa Chen will be the acting director.

        Director Ming-Daw Tsai, Distinguished Research Fellow of the Institute of Biological Chemistry, will go to the United States to attend international conferences from October 19 to November 3, 2011. During his absence, Deputy Director Shih-Hsiung Wu and Research Fellow Ruey-Hwa Chen will be the acting directors.

         Director Chiu-yu Tseng, Research Fellow of the Institute of Linguistics, will go to China to attend international conferences from October 15-22, 2011. During his absence, Research Fellow Chih-Chen Jane Tang will be the acting director.
