Dr. Y. Henry Sun, Distinguished Research Fellow of the Institute of Molecular Biology, has been appointed Executive Secretary of the Central Academic Advisory Committee, effective September 22, 2016, and will act as Director of the Department of Academic Affairs and Instrument Service the same day. The term of Acting Director appointment will be until the new director assumes office.
　　Academician Cheng-hwa Tsang, Distinguished Research Fellow of the Institute of History and Philology, will act as Director of the institute, effective October 13, 2016. The term of appointment will be until the new director assumes office.
　　Dr. Chien-Chih Lin has been appointed Assistant Research Fellow of the Institutum Iurisprudentiae, effective from September 12, 2016 to July 31, 2022.
