Director Paul Ho, Distinguished Research Fellow of the Institute ofAstronomy and Astrophysics, is going to Japan, the United States, Korea andChina for academic affairs from September 25 to October 13, 2010. During hisabsence, Distinguished Research Fellow Typhoon Lee is the acting director.

　　Director Yia-Chung Chang, Distinguished Research Fellow of the Research Center for Applied Sciences, will go to China  for academic affairs fromOctober 17-21, 2010. During his absence, Research Fellow Chau-Hwang Lee willbe the acting director.

        Director Yu-Tai Tao, Distinguished Research Fellow of the Institute of Chemistry, will go to China to attend academic conferences from October 15-18, 2010. During his absence, Deputy Director Ito Chao will be the acting director.

　　Director Shu-min Huang, Distinguished Research Fellow of the Institute of Ethnology, is going to Australia to attend academic conferences from October 5-9, 2010. During his absence, Deputy Director Ruey-Ling Chu is the acting director.

        Director Ying-Hwa Chang, Research Fellow of the Research Center for Humanities and Social Sciences, will go to China for academic affairs fromOctober 17-26, 2010. During his absence, Deputy Director Chiu-Yeoung Kuowill be the acting director.
