Director Shaw Chen Liu, Distinguished Research Fellow of the Research Center for Environmental Changes, will attend an international conference in China from September 15 to 19, 2008. During his absence the acting director of the Center will be Deputy Director George T.-F. Wong.

Director Tsai-Chun Chung, Research Fellow of the Institute of Chinese Literature and Philosophy, will attend an international conference in China from September 10 to 13, 2008. During his absence the acting director of the Institute will be Deputy Director Chin-lung Yang.

Director Ying-Hwa Chang, Research Fellow of the Research Center for Humanities and Social Sciences, will attend an international conference in China from September 7 to 16, 2008. During his absence the acting director of the Center will be Deputy Director Chiu-Yeoung Kuo.
