| Dr. Shao-Wei Cheng Selected Potential Personality of Taiwan |

Dr. Shao-Wei Cheng, Associate Research Fellow of the Institute of Statistical Science, Academia Sinica, was selected as one of the Ten Potential Personalities of Taiwan in 2007. This is the third year that Central News Agency organized such an activity. It was intended to discover the most potential youths of Taiwan with age under 40 in diverse areas. Dr. Cheng was recommended by Central Advisory Committee of Academia Sinica and was chosen as one of the most potential personalities in the scientific and academic category.
