Director Tai-Ping Liu, Distinguished Research Fellow of the Institute of Mathematics, will attend an international conference in China, from May 5 to 7, 2009. During his absence, Deputy Director Wun-Seng Chou will be the acting director.

Director Maw-Kuen Wu, Distinguished Research Fellow of the Institute of Physics, will attend an international conference in USA, from April 19 to 27, 2009. During his absence, Deputy Director Yang Yuan Chen and Research Fellows Sai-Ping Li Chi Keung Chan will be the acting directors.

Director Shaw Chen Liu, Distinguished Research Fellow of the Research Center for Environmental Changes, will attend an international conference in China, from April 20 to 23, 2009. During his absence, Deputy Director George T.-F. Wong will be the acting director.

Director Yung-fa Chen, Distinguished Research Fellow of the Institute of Modern History, will attend an international conference in USA, from April 27 to May 7, 2009. During his absence, Research Fellow Ko-wu Huang will be the acting director.
