Five Scholars Receive 2nd Academia Sinica Scholarly Monograph Award in the Humanities and Social Sciences
 

  Academia Sinica has established the Scholarly Monograph Award in the Humanities and Social Sciences to encourage scholars to publish monographs, conduct in-depth research on academic topics, and make important contributions academically. The awardees each received a certificate and a prize of NT$600,000.

  The five recipients of the 2nd Scholarly Monograph Award in the Humanities and Social Sciences and their winning books are (in alphabetical order):

Dr. Chang, Yun-chien
