Director Ming-Che Shih, Distinguished Research Fellow of the Agricultural Biotechnology Research Center, is going to China for academic affairs from July 12-21, 2013. During his absence, Deputy Director Shu-Mei Liang is the acting director.

　　Director Paul T. P. Ho, Distinguished Research Fellow of the Institute of Astronomy and Astrophysics, is going to the United States for academic affairs from July 12-25, 2013. During his absence, Deputy Director Ming-Jye Wang is the acting director.

　　Director Fu-Tong Liu, Distinguished Research Fellow of the Institute of Biomedical Sciences, will go to the United States for academic affairs from July 19 – August 4, 2013. During his absence, Deputy Director Hsiu-Ming Shih will be the acting director.
